Sophie is a really good writer. The story could have been really great. Why all the romance writers are so keen on light BDSM the last few years, I don't understand. Nothing wrong if it's your thing, but this behavior can't be a huge population of women wanting to be treated like this, 50 Shades of Grey not withstanding. I want romance, love, passion, and even erotica, but not spankings and sexual orders. If you like that, you'll probably give this book a better review. One last thing, really cruel to have a bunch of women auctioned off to be in terrible situations, to have the h/H know that, to get through their own issues and then kind of mention those women with a que sera sera kind of attitude instead thinking, now that we've addressed our own problems, lets go rescue those other women. Maybe you can't save everyone in real life, but this is fiction, science fiction even, and a feel good romance novel. Anything is possible. The fact that the h/H go on merrily with their lives without even trying to rescue any of the other women makes them people I have a hard time empathizing with. They could have been great characters, but instead their behavior in this tarnished them considerably. If there is a book 2 and more, let's not make it all about saving the naive, sweet human, and maybe make saving the other alien women at least a thought. And really, can you write good sex without the BDSM. All that said, the author does have real talent!!!!Product details

I was super confused as to why this book had such a low rating I found it to be very entertaining and the love scenes were hot.
Really really good. Enjoy a really good read, well written and I really enjoyed the characters

Quite frankly you have to bring your A game when you write stuff like this. These are a thousand authors who will take your place if you don't write a good story. I wasn't cAptivated by the hero. I thought he was self centered, my reasons are because he was doting on her. He was trying to figure out his next advantage. I understand he bought her because he was trying to save her but he never had a plan I just felt he was fumbling. He is supposed to be portrayed as this selfless hero but he really looked like a playboy playing dress up.

Liked the book but Quinn just wasn't 👽Alien enough. The author described him as big and blue, but basically he's a huge blue human alpha male🐺🍌🌋. The book takes turns with the POV, which I 👍like.
Once Quinn🐺🍌🌋👋 buys the human female, Fiona💋👗, at the slave auction, and takes her to his ship, he could be any alpha🐺 stud🐎 tying her up, doing a little spankfest👋👋 on her butt and making her submissive dreams come true!
Quinn is a big bad boy🐺👋🍌🌋🔥, and he wants to play hard! YEHAW!
Fiona finally comes to the realization that her family was in cahoots to sell her off to the slave traders on Dreagle🌍. She and Quinn haven't figured out why, yet.
There is also something hidden in the ship that Quinn stole, he has searched for it, but seems lust has taken presidence over that.
This is a sweet romance with a dominant male🐺🍌🌋👋 as the lead but the 👽alien factor just wasn't there. The descriptions of almost everything in the book were superficial, including Quinn🐺🍌🌋👋, the spaceship, and even the planets🌍 Read it for the romance💓, not because it's supposed to be sci-fi.
Quinn is a tall sexy blue dude🐺! He's a spankster👋👋, a binder, too, but he's sweet as chocolate🍫🍭 through and through!

I tried to finish the book, I really did but this book is way way WAY to repetitive! Almost every paragraph had 2 to 3 lines (sometimes more) that started the same. When not over used it can add a good effect but in this case it just took me out of the story and felt like filler.
I was disappointed in this book. Some books you fall in love with the moment you start reading them. This one I had a hard time liking and was such a relief to get to the end.
Quinn was trying to keep his head down, his goal was to avoid being noticed, not to be a hero and rescue a human from a slavers auction block... but plans change.
Fiona begins to see her life, and the universe, from another perspective, and has she comes to understand how she ended up on that auction block in the first place, she comes to realize how differently things could have happened.
This story hits on class struggles, greed, and some of the worst aspects of people, but it also shows two characters finding the best in themselves, not giving up, finding strength purpose and courage in one another, and had me cherishing the definition of family, in the end.
