No, these devotionals are word for word right out of the lips of Jesus.You may not be a person that hears Jesus from day to day as thoughts in your spirit. You may have only heard Jesus speak in the Gospels. Well now you can buy this book and hear Jesus speaks 30 messages and have the Holy Spirit back each message up with scripture verses that say the same thing.

I like this book because my favorite scripture is psalms 91. Will read it again.
Great devotional and bible verses. Very well done . And gives inspiration and encouragement for everyday for our weaknesses. I like to just start all over again and read each day.
I've been encouraged and brought near to my Abba Father from spending time in this devotional. Definitely worth purchasing and rereading over and over.
I have read several of Adam Houge' s books and have really enjoyed them but this book just didn't have the same impact on me. It was still good; but I would recommend readers to check out Mr. Houge' s other books before this one.
This book has helped me during my private time with God to draw closer to him in the secret place, find peace, rest and comfort in God, knowing who I am in Him and getting more insight, knowledge and understanding into the calling he has over my life.

My review of this devotional is great the words are powerful and ministering to the soul. If your receptive of God s word then this is for you. I enjoyed this book I took notes that really spoke to my heart. The secret place is very inspirational
I got so much out of this book that some days I couldn’t stop reading it. Each day focuses on every day life and our struggles. I find this daily devotion helpful in my walk with God. I love how scriptures are followed by each passage. Thank you! Now I can incorporate this teaching in my daily walk with God.
