PJ Morton offers a sincere and insightful perspective about music in his book Why Can't I Sing about Love. Human beings are so accustomed to limiting God that we sometimes lose sight of that fact that He is the creator of all things; including music. Sure, some have morphed the music God fashioned to bring Him glory into something contrary to His intention, but that doesn't mean we as true believers cannot take it back. PJ is leading a revolution of musicians that see Christ as love, and are not afraid to take a stand for Christ, and sing about love, His way.
This book has helped shine a light on the misconceptions of secular music. It has made me view it in a different way.

My Father is a Pastor and I sing R and B and or Love Songs as Well So, I am still in Mid way of reading the book but I think that Peoople make to much with it!!!!!
This book was so brief that it could be read on a flight or a quick trip on the subway. I was amazed by the depth of it even in its brevity. PJ Morton did a stellar job communicating the heart of a worshipper, writer, and lover of love. His understanding of the Christian responsibility to represent the whole Bible (SOS included) is brilliant! Musicians and lovers of music should read this and gain great understanding of the beauty of God's music--which isn't necessarily just singing about his amazing grace.
